Tours for those who love tours. Very diverse selections,
you can choose between tours on horseback, ATV,
4X4 Jeeps, or Hiking. The sugar cane companies have
long restricted access to this pristine area. Recently
purchased by the Bishop Estate, the full impacts
of these views are just now being discovered. These
overlooks are only accessible on horseback, on foot,
by 4-wheel drive, or by mountain bike. Even helicopters
are not allowed to get that close to the rim above
the valley floor. Call toll free at 1 877 757-1414;

Hilo
and surrounds. This certified, scenic course follows
"the coast of old Hawaii" past incredible waterfalls,
narrow bridges and lava beaches. Start to mile 10
is a net downhill of 500 ft. Some hills in the first
8 miles but fairly flat after that. Hilo is located
on in one of the cooler, more lush parts of "Big
Island" of Hawaii. This usually translates into
very good running conditions. Enthusiastic, well-stocked
aid stations. Awards given in various age groups.
Deadline for mailing your entry form is March 15,
2004. Race run Sunday, March 21, 2004 6 AM. It is

Captain Jeff is the top sportfish catching captain
in Kona five years in a row. Hawaii is one of the
worlds top deep sea fishing destinations and it's
the geography of the Big island that makes Kona
Hawaii the sportfishing capital of the Pacific.
Five huge mountain masses protect the Kona coast
from the winds resulting in sea conditions that
are usually as calm as a lake. The steep slope of
the ocean bottom on the Kona coast puts the deep
sea sportfishing within a short distance from the
shoreline. Call (808) 895-1852; Email
